The Training and Lifelong Learning Center) of Democritus University of Thrace is an Independent Academic Unit based on the national and European institutional framework for Lifelong Learning.

All activities pertaining to training, continuous education, skill development, and lifelong learning within the University and among its members are obligatory and administered exclusively through the Training and Lifelong Learning Center of Democritus University of Thrace. The Center operates under the regulations established by the institutional framework, the Senate, and the Operating Regulations. The Center holds the authority to to plan and execute various projects concerning lifelong learning, with a particular emphasis on non-formal education programs leading to the issuance of relevant certificates.
